Abstraction of something that exists in the real world but it is not the thing itself . Set of ideas (concepts) and statements that link the ideas together. Constructed for a purpose to describe, to explain, to predict, to control. Capable of being tested and falsified (proven wrong) Process of observation, explanation, experimentation and prediction that results in a systematized body of knowledge about a particular phenomena or group of phenomena, attained by verifiable means. Theory is always open to falsification falsification is the universal method. Disciplines focused on health, illness and disease.
