Cervical biopsy reveals adenocarcinoma, premalignant but can be invasive if left untreated. Gynecologist recommends cervical conisation or hysterectomy to remove tissue. Mr. p is a reiki practitioner (uses energy healing) so she doesn"t want to follow gynecologist"s advice bc she doesn"t want any surgical invasion at all and to use her energy to heal herself. Ms. p does not exhibit verbal/behavioural signs of mental illness. 48 y/o ms. l has recurrent metatastic ovarion adenocarcinoma. Seeks oncologist for conventional treatment but is open to use cam treatments. Wants provider"s help to evaluate proper cam treatments for her. Oncologist dismisses ms. l and says that cam treatments will risk her health.
