Try to capture now how it looked but how you remember it. Think about how emotions that that memory triggers & how would you represent it visually. Refers to structure you choose to order visual elements in photo work w/ goal of creating visual acuity. Helps create visual hierarchy to guide viewer to central point of interest. Helps to establish what is focus of image & how focus is communicated. Figure to ground - refers to having strong contrast b/w subject & background. Focus is foreground & out of focus is background.
