Biology plus environment plus mind are part of psychology"s three bio-psycho-social levels of analysis. Deep level biology: genes, brain, neurotransmitters, survival, re exes, sensation. In the middle, psychology: thoughts, emotions, moods, choices, behaviours, traits, motivations, knowledge, perceptions. The outer level, environment: social in uences, culture, education, relationships. The brain is the physical thing, while the mind is where you lter things and come to thoughts. the brain is like a hardware while the mind would be like the software. The mind enables you to whatever your brain is doing, electrical chemical, perceive things, to thing, to be able to remember.
