Angry outbursts, could be anxiety, could be adhd. Lots of comorbidity and overlap with childhood and adolescent disorders. All childhood diagnoses in previous versions were lumped together in own. Moved them into chapters of corresponding adult versions of disorder. Multiple reports: work with kids, parents, & teacher. Developmental and medical history: prenatal and early years history. Educational functioning learning and other disorders can impact this. Role of child psychologist: liaison between family, care providers, & school (or social worker does it) Visible symptoms, hard controlling themselves: adhd, odd, cd. Internalizing problems: over controlled behaviour, keep problems inside: separation anxiety disorder, selective mutism, rad reactive attachment disorder, ad, mood disorders.
