But it"s deeper meaning implies that the situation is awful, bad, and is asking more than what are you literally doing. If we take the surface label for a statement, we can miss the meaning in the situation. Therefore, words are more than labels: criticisms: pauses in conversations have meaning, pauses aren"t words, yet they convey meaning. If words only carry meaning because they"re labels for things, then a lack of using words shouldn"t have meaning. Saying 5 slabs" means many things depending on the speaker or the context. For the builder, it could mean that you require 5 slabs for use. As a helper, 5 slabs" might mean that they have 5 slabs in their possession: really, context and speaker are important; meaning is not attached to representations.
