Psyc 362 lecture 7 - class project information. People who scored higher on this measure have higher self-esteem. Higher scores reflect greater fears of being single. For people who are already in a relationship, fears of being single speak to one"s comparison level of alternatives greater fear of being single leads to more commitment/less likely to leave a relationship that sucks. Daily diary measures - think about how each of the previous insecurities might relate to the daily experiences. Lower self-esteem and higher attachment anxiety leads to higher sensitivity of feeling rejected. Vice versa for higher self esteem and low attachment anxiety. Those with lower self-esteem and higher attachment anxiety need more reassurance in order to feel that they are cared for. Critical behaviour: will likely be higher for those who score higher in attachment avoidance (?) Descriptive statistics: all measure on a scale of 7. Overall, we are pretty well-attached population (i. e. overall scores are quite low)
