Not all deviance is crime but includes criem. Occurs on many levels involves elements of difference. Earliest theories assumed it was in the hereditary material, genes. Sheldon said riminality is linked to muscular athletic build. Genetic research still trying to connect biology to criminality. Research says if you have defected gene coupled with scoiological risk factors this will produce a invidual who has trouble with the law.
