-labour market split started on railways and continues to manifest in racist ways today
-law was ineffective in dealing with systemic discrimination because it was difficult to
prove intent to discriminate
-who is making the law, for which groups is the law being enacted
-many times it is actually right to be against the law, because many laws may
actually be unjust
-to be a lawful citizen in some cases means to give the person back to the power
-just because it is the law does not mean that we have to respect it all the time
-the right thing is not always the lawful thing to do
Law- shouldn’t say that we shouldn’t go into them because they are so corrupt, or they only suit
certain kinds of people. Instead, we should go into them and disrupt them. Should not leave
one sphere of activities to the bullies. And then continue to complain that things aren’t the
ways that we want.
If you have a different voice, some people don’t want to listen. Just be there, look them right in
the eyes. Really?
Sometimes people don’t even want to see us, don’t want to think we exist. Makes people feel
intimidated.
