Y-axis (vertical: task list (derived from your wbs chart, task id, task names, deliverables, subtasks, duration (in days, start and end dates, human resources allocated. ***the one with one summary elemtnt is better than the one with multiple summary elements. Traditionally we plan by task, but by feature or deliverables. Fundamentally, there are 3 categories of features: must have, good to have, nice to have. Although a gantt chart is useful and valuable for small projects that fut on a single sheet or screen: they can become quite unwieldy for projects with more than 30 activities. Gannt charts only represent part of the triple constraints (cost, time and scope) of projects, because they focus primarily on schedule management. Gantt charts do not represent the size of a project or the relative size of work elements.
