Bringing about the condiions that will render you otherwise. Irigaray"s proposal speaks about sexual diference: rooted in natural diference. Speak diferently, difering ways of speaking show the diference of experience rooted in the fact of sex. Biological sex diference: this is controversial as nature has jusiied inequality. Unable to disinguish deep diference between women: women is a monolithic category that diminishes important diferences. If she"s right about these diferences, look at how they consitute our experience. We do not have to ignore diference to conquer the hierarchy, but to look at other ways to incorporate diference. Seeing culture as natural, it is an expression/compleion of nature: nature itself is conceived of something that is self-difereniaing. Not a monolithic reality, it is a force that expresses itself as the natural features of our world. She afords a relaional vision of culture and reality: our reality is dependent on the organizaion of love.
