Types of community work: community service, working with service users and with the service system to enhance accessibility and utility of service, community development. Community development and gentrification: gentrification, a t(cid:455)pi(cid:272)all(cid:455) (cid:862)poo(cid:396)(cid:863) o(cid:396) (cid:862)(cid:449)o(cid:396)ki(cid:374)g (cid:272)lass(cid:863) neighborhood becomes more desirable. Inclusionary housing or zoning policy: rewarding developers for including social housing, support existing renters, provision of services and employment opportunities to existing residents, community organizing. Intended to reduce inequality and decrease the chances of unrest: mid-twentieth century, community development was more radicalized.
