Monogamy: considered normal, natural, mononormativity, goal is to find that one true love, 1 + 1, only time when another person is added, is if they have a baby, only socially acceptable right to divorce, is adultery. Plus: social rituals revolve around being coupled, advantages to marriage, being single not is normal if you"re an adult and single, it"s assumed that something is wrong with you.
