Document Summary
Pornography is the document of actual sex acts. Not fake, but real acts by real people whose stories are not depicted in the document. The way that porn has come to be in the world is that is focuses on consumption and profit. 200 new porn videos are produced every week. It is not a story about passion or even desire. The women in these movies have straight forward scripts. There"s certain kinds of acts for the male consuming audience. Men come to believe that this is what women want. The objectifying acts that are documents in porn indicate or prove to men that women are sexually available, always ready for sex, and that no means yes. They also provide men with a very narrow and deep fantasy about what it means to be a real man - in control, dominating, emotionally detached, and their satisfaction is what counts.
