Reproduces these inequalities by making them seem natural and ubiquitous (reification) You separate the original context in which it occurs, makes the original context disappear. For marx, this was a way to make a social order, and keep loyal to their society, and kept their place. We take an object, such as a gender difference, and treat is as though it is real or natural.
