Clines: gradual freq-changes in genotypes/phenotypes over geo-space; / gene-freq from 1 end of region to another: aids in understanding diffs in allele-freq, ex. body proportions cold: small, stout, & short; hot: tall, lanky, & thin. Classification units: geo, ethnic, & breeding pop (simplistic/doesn"t rep real simil. /diff"s b/w pop"s) No classification trait more approp than another b/c it depends on classification purpose. Classification units used are dynamic entities b/c pop"s constantly changing.
