Universal: what you"re doing as whole group instruction. 80% will be successful in how you"re teaching, lecture style. Targeted intervention: 15% of students will be successful, this is small group instruction. Intensive: hopefully 5% of students will be successful, one on one instruction. This is when a specialist would come in, and pull a student out of your classroom. You provide tier 3 instruction, but is doesn"t necessarily mean the students will be responsive. I don"t need glasses to see the board, but you do.
