Security state - citizens live in a state of enduring personal insecurity. Fear not only for immediate safety and security, but also the stability and maintenance of current way of life. In an emergency situation people reach out to the state in the form of an established structure (ex. police), lives are regulated by the state. Everyone wants security whilst maintaining privacy and control, but this is not a possibility. Reciprocity: the practice of exchanging things with others for mutual bene t, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another. Human attempts to understand it is considered blasphemy. Having a religious experience to the point of professing ones fate through ghting. Shot and killed numerous military personal and a civilian at fort hood. Terrorist: offers a comprehensive understanding of the man, his motives, the event, and all of its implications. Putting an end to any empirically-based consideration or discussion. Hasan, labelled as a terrorist, not an individual.
