Public information relating to this is often inaccurate. Plays out in the popular domain in a rather overwhelming way due to links with fear. Lack of speci cs or vague statements, often assumptions rather than claims. Edmonton jasper ave crash, initial reports saying it was a terrorist attack (isis ag), nal security report doesn"t mention terrorism at all. governments fear refugee violences, dealing with unknown quantity. Preventative work from a security point of view looking for something without evidence. Very few counties willingly and quickly implement these policies, usually years long process. Rarely the case that models in different countries translate exactly. New approaches are needed for different regions, refugee groups, and governments. 1 - resolving the original con ict in the country of origin, and returning refugees to their homes.
