Mandate for schools to send home newsletter indicating that a portion of the amount they invest in their child"s involvement in organized activities (legislation) is tax deductible. Newsletter could also raise awareness of the health aspect. To increase motivation to participate: save money by doing this behaviour . An analytic tool that systematically integrates a gender perspective into the development of policies, programs, and legislation, as well as planning and decision- making processes . A lens that focuses on the differences between men and women, their experiences and life circumstances. Centre stage: gender differences in what we are doing and how we are doing it. Information-based: make parents aware that their socialization of their children in fact negatively impacts their children"s health in the long run for the sake of the children .
