Health history: ex: past injuries, family history, hortatory of headaches/ migraines, medications, precautions. Eyes: vision changes, external eye structures affected (signs & symptoms of infection?) Ears: pain, change in hearing, vertigo, ear protection. Ask about: headaches/ migraines, syncope, seizures, pain. Assess (inspect, palpate): range of motion (rom, palpate head, face, nose, lymph nodes, thyroid, carotid pulse, cervical spine. Look for symmetry, intactness, bilateral movement, normal placement (ex: thyroid gland), masses, lacerations, bruising, rashes, drainage, pain. Goiter: assess border, diameter, painfulness, ask oldcarss questions. Lymphatic glands: pulse, rate, rhythm, quality, swollen (may indicate infection upstream), rubberiness you won"t feel them if they are not in amed. Pain: headache, neck pain/ neck movement. Note: congestion, bleeds, polyps? allergy sign and symptoms. Percuss over sinus areas to inspect for pain. ), tongue, mucosa colour/ moisture, visualize tonsils: back of throat should be open with no foreign objects, enlarged tonsils = red flag blocks airways.
