Quality control - u test the product and then u release the product. It is based on successful reaching of compliance to regulation. Quality assurance requires proof that the validated system is continuing to operate as it should. And then we have to monitor the process - check if this is working- this is part of the validation. There is limited time devoted to quality assurance and so this cuases some discrepencies in health care. Even within the hospital, there are different quality assurance measures. Barrier control - to prevent spread of contmination (e. g. gloves) Personal control - to prevent contamination events (people who do te stuff and whether or not they are preforming the way they should be) In order to minimize product contamination , the product procedures need to be done correctly.
