PAC118 Lecture 3: Day 3 drills - Dribbling
Document Summary
Warm up: establish a playing area with boundaries. Get everyone to find a partner, each pair will need a ball. One partner will start with the ball dribbling it around well the other partner jogs randomly for about thirty seconds then the two make their way closer to each other and pass off the ball using a short pass. This goes back and forth until everyone is sufficiently warm or for about 10 minutes. Limit how players can dribble (only using the inside of their foot, outside of their foot, bottom of their foot) Limit how players can run without the ball (butt kicks, high knees, side shuffling, etc. ) to incorporate stretching. Establish a long narrow playing field, with two small nets on each side with a break in-between the two. Each team lines up on each end with each player on one side having a ball.
