Document Summary

It is the scientific study of mind and behaviour. Science involves systematically gathering and evaluating empirical evidence. The term behaviour refers to actions and responses that we can directly observe. The term mind refers to internal states and processes like thoughts and feelings that we can"t see and can only be inferred from observable, measurable response. Science is different from folk wisdom = folk wisdoms are basically short cuts based on one experience. Plus we get biased and we see what we want to see as it is based on personal experience. This virus causes microcephaly which is blamed by many countries for making their people not smart. (lack of alternatives: stereotypes i. e donald trump (mental shortcuts) In science we don"t have only one piece of evidence. Science is public and mostly accessible to other people. And other people judge you (peer-review, peer read and replicated) and criticize you making you to rethink, re-evaluate, re-analyze and confirm.
