People who speak different languages might think differently. Intelligence: the variable capacity that underlies in reasoning, problem solving and acquiring new knowledge. Psychologists are interested in trying to capture and measure intelligence. Applied psychologists solve real life problems and many of them are intelligence testers. Schools want to take intelligence tests to identify children who might need more academic attention. Army assigns ranks and tasks according to intelligence scores.
