Mary temple grandin is an autistic, widely known as an advocate for animal welfare. In 2010 she made the time list of 100 most in uential people. She is also a slaughterhouse designer and meat eater and has written in defence of meat as a food. So the meat paradox is caring about animal welfare but also eating meat. So how do people manage the psychological tension seemingly con icted views? (to get rid of the con icting buts about eating meat) So how do people manage the psychological tension created by these seemingly con icted values. We should call people animals by there names to reduce abuse, and animals to be killed to be eaten must be done humanity.
