Description
1. What features of Archaropteryx made it unique from other fossils that had been found and  why was its discovery so revolutionary? Has unmistakable feathers on its wings and on its tail. Was called a bird but was unlike any other  bird because it had claws, a jaw instead of a beak and a line of bones supporting its tail. Part  reptile, part bird. It was a link between those two groups that was otherwise missing. 2. What animal is presented as an example of the link between mammals, birds, and reptiles, and  what specific feature differentiates it from other mammals? Platypus part reptile and mammal. Comes to breathe , it lays eggs in a burrow (like a reptile).  Hoatzin bird with claws on wings. 3. Why are frogs found on all continents with the exception of Antarctica? Amphibians were originally on the supercontinent and then the continents drifted apart. 4. Discuss how evidence from different organisms found in nature today can explain how natural  selection an evolve complex traits such as the eye? Some organisms only have light sensitive spots. If a pit is formed, you could see what direction
