Art inca gold/copper, pottery , textile, status: reciprocity. The incas would give gifts to the chief. If he accepted the gifts, they would have a party, if he didn"t accept it, there would be military action taken place. The people expect that people give back the same amount that they give others. Minka: is any situation where you have social asymmetry. Minka: their characteristic was that if they are asked for help, they will provide help back but they wont expect the same amount of work that they gave others.
