Attack on first nation"s people"s = political tactic used to undermine first nations and undermine their claims to land - the land bridge theory this theory is only applied by white scholars. There are archaeological inconsistencies supporting this theory. He is basically attacking the people that are making the claims. Archaeological elements don"t show a clear story - there are so many different groups of elements that you just can"t trust what they are saying because they don"t know exactly what is going on. Scientists don"t know the exact location of beringa. Deloria implies there are no worn paths - we don"t know which direction the paths are going in. He think we are still lost to explain human origins. Thinks dinos are still in the 19th century this is based on first nations oral traditions. Believes things are true because the story says it"s true.
