The palliser club - has an exam bank with practice exams. Statistical properties of note: change in mean (average) conditions. Most places are seeing subtle but increasing temperatures. All the temps over the year, take the average and get the mean. variability of extreme events, droughts and floods. This summer the bow river had really lower levels compared to normal averages. We had a summer drought that affected crops. Precipitation and air temperature are the two that we are interested in with climate. 1% rise in air temperature leads to 7% more moisture in the atmosphere. The mean is the central tendency of your samples. The standard deviation is how spread out the samples are.
