Introduciojn to modern china under the qing dynasty: known as a relaively failed rebellion. China is usually depicted as being isolated, but under the qing dynasty it becomes very powerful. Throughout the 18th century, it was wildely believed that china had everything it needed. Less than efecive rulers run rampant throughout the country and basic government requirements are not being met. Addiionally, ciizens need the government more and more as looding along the yellow river produces necessary migraion and large pockets of dissonance as a result: increased social unrst. As ime goes on, the populaion of china coninues to grow, and as populaions grow, so does the need to sustain it. The ability of the chinese empire to meet the demands of the growing populaion begins to dwindle: this need for change is not accompanied by industrializaion, remains an agrarian society (relying on crop economy)
