The haiian revoluion seen as the most successful slave rebellion in the modern era: describe the nature of french colonial rule in lain america and how it relates to the the origins of haiian revoluions. During the early 1700"s french took control of saint-domingue (haii) and begain bringing in slave labour into the colonies. Saint domingue was a very wealthy naion for france due to its sugar and cofee exports. Of most of the trade done by local land owners, most of money made would have to go back to. Ciizens could not trade with other naions unless insituted by france: describe how each of the major groups interpreted the iniial phase of the french revoluion. Major groups: les grande blanc: wealthy white land and slave owners. Made up about 6% of society: free blacks, slaves: populaion of over 400,000. The spread of ideology makes it"s way to france soon enough causing for a full on french rebellion.
