The crown will only take advice who have the confidence of the assembly. The whole objective of the pm and cabinet is to (cid:373)ai(cid:374)tai(cid:374) the co(cid:374)fide(cid:374)ce of the people"s representatives. Either the house must call for an election or the governing party must resign. This ensures the accountability of the pm and the cabinet to parliament.
