Karl marx was especially focused on the struggle among the classes. According to marx, different classes exist in each historical stage, and these classes have opposed interests and are always in conflict. Marx also wrote about how different tasks are required to produce an object and from this emerges the concept of division of labor and the specialization of the work force. Marx had to classes in his social structure. Bourgeoisie-the owners of the means of production. Proletariat- the laborers who worked with the means of production to make goods and services. Your social class was based on the relation to the force of production you had. Capitalism was necessary for social progress, but it was no longer a progressive force and needed to die out. Marx also claimed that capitalism created alienation amongst the people. The specialization of the work force was dull and it stifled the creativity of the proletariat. Specialization also detached workers from one another.
