They see themselves as social and fiscal conservatives, conservatives tend to fight among each other. Equality of condition/outcome have similar material situation, work for the good of society. Humans can work together in collective and cooperative fashion. Community goals larger than those of individuals. With homelessness, there were a variety of institutes which prevented these people from living the good life.
