Archival analysis- someone has collected the data now your just reviewing it. Iv- if you"ve used cannabis, dv- how it a ects your driving. Extraneous variables- state of the participants before the test is done, other factors that may a ect the research outcomes. Statistically controlled- ask questions about sleep, emotional state, pre test and post test (di erences between groups) Matched- if split into groups, the groups must be equal (tall/short, men/women, young/old) Random assignment- a computer decides the groups. Control- group that isn"t a ected (non drugged brownies)
