Holy holy holy , merciful and mighty god in three persons blessed trinity is more than a hymn. It is a christian confession that the god of the bible has forever known himself and who in jesus. Christ has revealed himself as the father, the son, and the holy spirit. This is the doctrine of the holy trinity. The trinity is the basis for the entire christian life. The doctrine of eternity is the basic blueprint of which the christian faith is built or to change metaphors it is the theological genetic code which sets the limits and defines the boundaries of. But to muslims to say that god is both one and three is to deny the unity of god the most basic affirmation of islamic faith. Islam disagrees with christianity on a few theological issues the most important one being trinity.
