Contain lean, fat, connective tissue, blood vessels, nerves. Fascia: surrounds muscles and attaches muscle to other muscle. Usually works in groups with other muscles. Pull on attachment site to move bones and other structures when contracting. Muscle located on the side of limb to which a joint bends. Muscle located on the opposite side of limb to which a joint bends. Pull limb away from the median plane. Striated or smooth muscles that surround an opening. Between skin and deep fascia covering muscles. The twitch of skin to get flies away.
