Document Summary

The mammoth is an example of natural selecion due to elephants migraing to higher laitudes and colder mountain temperatures. Then, environmental facilitaion (oxygen rich waters) allowed these ish to be successful and reproduce. Natural selecion happens when there is environmental constraint (increased predaion, colour of the background, colder temperatures) Molecular markers were used to make the tree. The implicaion is that they are all one species in the tree, i. e. , polar bears are brown bears and that polar bears evolved from brown bears (they do not share a common ancestor) Any species below the ips is exinct/ancestral/primiive. Has to do with the total change in colour of the background. When the temperature increases in the arcic, the background begins to turn black as ice melts and increases the absorpion of radiaion, resuling in a posiive feedback of warming. As external environment changes, the slope of a regulator will not change because it is ighing internal changes in temperature.
