Every computer runs an os, allows you to muli-task. Server operaing systems are slightly diferent than these we have in our everyday computes & tablets. Servers are designed to allow more than one user to access the computer at any one ime. Latest windows and mac operaing could be considered server or network operaing systems because they allow the administrator to actually set up basic networks in their home or oice. Mobile devices such as smart phones use diferent oss from their laptop or desktop counterparts. Phones are not expected to allow much mulitasking, allows os to be more compact, saving space.
