The protocols needed to be open systems their designs would be made public for access by any interested party. Suite named after original protocols: transmission control protocol (tcp) and internet. Tcp prepares data for transmission and provides for error checking and resending lost data. Statistic addressing means that the address for a computer never changes and is most likely assigned manually by a network administrator. In dynamic addressing, your computer is assigned a temporary address from an available pool of ip addresses. A domain name is simply a name that takes the place of an ip address, making it easier for people to remember: example, mywebsite. com is a domain name.
