Thatcher wanted britain to be treated more fairly within the ec. Many ec officials agreed with thatcher but didn"t like the approach. Britain felt they weren"t getting enough of the money that was being distributed. However, their plan of action failed again, the other member states did agree with britain"s complaints but didn"t like their methods they brought things to a hold. Portugal, spain, and greece were poorer, less advanced countries. Thatcher and mitron seemed to hit it off and connected politically.
