Theories believe that the timetable for socialization is set by the physical maturations of humans: ontogenetic development, guiding factor is important. Availability and experience of particular socializing agents create developmental outcomes: sociogenic development, age-grading processes would be constant and criminality would be found in the experiences and socialization rather than the ontogenetic process.
