Race difference" between and among groups. History should be without race as it is simply about difference and biology should be focused on similarities, not differences. These characteristics did not exclusively define what the lower class was, but what they were not (i. e. what the aristocrats were) Growth of empire race applied to non-europeans. Scale of civilization: the instance of britain coming together placed it in comparison to the rest of civilization. The rest of europe fell short of britain in british opinion. The irish were the first race considered inferior to the rest of britain they were the initial group that was completely different. Asian peoples or the oriental race" as different from europe and europeans from medieval period.
