Return of blues through british rock inspired young musicians to try playing in their own bands: garage bands. Louie louie the kingsmen: simple verse chorus, less polished, more emotional. Rough raw sound of the oldies; seems more intimate. Guitar sound: from yardbirds, distortion, improvising from blues.
