Become wiser as you get older because you gain experience. Philosophy is based on reason; art is based on emotion; religion is based on faith. Science differs from philosophy even though they are both based on reason. Interested in science but called a philosopher (theas could predict weather patterns) Science achieves by making models of reality. Philosophy relied on facts that cannot be proven. Each age has to discover plato for themselves in their own terms. In philosophy we determine if its true or false by if it makes sense to us. New branches of philosophy were created that took place of physics, chemistry, biology, social science. Points where science and philosophy overlap and have connections. The kinds of philosophy that exists still have questions that cannot be answered. Plato says we have 3 different impulses: appetite, spiritedness, rationality.
