P1) i should be criminally liable only for that which i can properly be held responsible and culpable. P2) i should be responsible/culpable only for that which is under my control. P3) i control only that which i choose to do or deliberately bring about: therefore, i should only be held responsible/culpable for that which i choose to do or deliberately bring about. Choices under my control i am responsible. Chance events not under my control i am not responsible. Choice responsible for; chance/luck not responsible for. Intention: to intend to do x is to be disposed to do x unless something (external) intervenes . So, there must be a point where people can still have a change of heart and a point where they will not. P1) prepatory actions for committing a crime are evidence of criminal intention. Note: doesn"t matter if they have a change of heart or not.
