Transmited by a vector, can be passively or acively. In plants, several plant pathogens are transmited via vectors. Ant can have spores atach to their body, move it up the plant. Bees pollinate plants, moving plant to plant & can collect whatever (pollen, etc. ) is in the lower, taken with it. Bacteria hangs out in mouth of insect (i. e. cucumber beetle) Vectors (such as arthropods) oten have a limited host range.
