It was not simply a matter of abolishing and admitting an oppressed minority to the mainstream society, as the united states had done. Here, empowering the black majority meant it (cid:449)ould take o(cid:448)er (cid:272)o(cid:374)trol of the (cid:272)ou(cid:374)tr(cid:455)(cid:863) allister sparks. In the united states, the civil rights movement was an amazing achievement, although they were not asking to take over the country, instead they were just asking for civil rights.
