Problems with humanitarian intervention: that it is crude. That it involves primarily coercive actions into the affairs of other states: that it is ad hoc. Something that has been formed or used for a special and immediate purpose, without previous planning. Needs to be a balance between state sovereignty and protecting people and also should be more uniform/ consistent.
